LĒVO Lux: Infuse CycleUpdated 2 years ago

You've received your new LĒVO Lux infuser... now what? Create your first infusion, of course!

Follow the steps below to get started:

1. Plug in your LĒVO and switch your unit ON - it needs to be ON to remove the washable parts inside.

1. Power the unit ON ➖  by pressing the switch (in the back of your Lux, right above power cord) to the ON ➖  position.
   ✳ Note: Your LĒVO Lux will go into Power Saving mode after 10 minutes. Tap front panel to proceed, or flip switch OFF ⚪ to turn full power off.   

   
   

2. To open the lid, press the lock button located on right side, below the lid to release the latch. 
   ✳ Note: The lid is not an automated lift; you will then manually lift the lid. 
   ‼ NEVER attempt to open the lid when the lid lock is activated. Always make sure the machine is powered ON and the lid is UNLOCKED with lock button before opening. A broken lid due to improper use is not covered under warranty
   
   
3. With the machine ON, press the Reservoir Release button to remove the Reservoir/Drain Tube

4. Set up your LĒVO Lux for use, making sure the reservoir is securely attached to the drain tube before inserting them together into the LĒVO
5. Insert reservoir. Only use the machine after the reservoir and drain tube have been inserted correctly to avoid leaks!
6. Add the included stirrer inside the reservoir on the center mark

7. Prepare your dry ingredients/herbs to add to the herb pod:
   ✔ Dry off any excess moisture with a cloth or paper towel
   ✔ Dried botanicals should be coarsely ground (not too finely ground) to minimize excess sediment in your infusion
   ✔ Do not over-pack the herb pod so that liquid can easily flow through it! Our Power Pod Lux will hold up to 1/2 cup of dry botanicals (~1/4 oz of flower). You can use a second Power Pod to double your herb capacity. Shop the Power Pod.
8. Add your filled herb pod to the reservoir beside the “Place Pod Here” marker. The magnetic bracket will cling to the side of the reservoir where it's marked
9. Add between 5 fl oz to 16 fl oz (or 2 cups) of your favorite fat-soluble liquid (oil or butter) to the reservoir. Oils or butter can be added in liquid OR solid form.
   ❗ NEVER overfill the reservoir to avoid waste of your product & damage to the machine. Internal leaks due to improper use are not covered by warranty
   ✳ NOTE: Dry ingredients inside the herb pod should be completely submerged in your liquid - you may need more coarsely ground herb if most of your product is above your liquid
10. Press the *blinking* button to select INFUSE. 
11. LĒVO will automatically suggest a default time and temperature for the INFUSE cycle.

12. Press the START/PAUSE icon.
    ✳ NOTE: Allow a longer "Warming Up" period for colder liquids or items that are not already in liquid form, such as a stick of butter right out the fridge
    
    
13. If needed, you can pause anytime during the cycle by pressing the LOCK button located below the lid to release the latch or by pressing the START/PAUSE icon, pausing your infusion. Close the lid until you hear the latch “click” then press the START/PAUSE button to continue your INFUSE cycle.
14. Your LĒVO Lux will display WARMING UP as it preheats to your desired temperature and then alert you with a sound when the preset temperature has been reached. During the cycle, the display will show REMAINING TIME and CURRENT TEMPERATURE. 
    ✳ NOTE: You can change time and temperature or manually end your cycle at any time.
15. You’ll receive an alert when the timer is up and your cycle is complete. The display will read INFUSION COMPLETE CHOOSE DISPENSE MODE.
16. Now you’re ready to DISPENSE your infusion!
